The Nursing foundation department shoulders the responsibilities of mentoring novice nursing students who enter the portals of Panimalar college of nursing. Our aim is to empower students with desirable knowledge, attitude and skills to work in various clinical settings and to develop  holistic and professional nurses with deep rooted commitment to lifelong learning and service.

The student nurses are molded in the realms of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development. All efforts are enthrallment on assuring that the student metamorphoses from a “bud to blossom”.

The traditional class room teaching with advanced flexible e-learning approach enables them to learn more creatively with course facilitator. This approach also accommodates student nurse’s in a different learning pace and styles. In addition, it exposes students to additional information through attachments and links provided by course facilitators. Through eclectic teaching learning approach and e-learning techniques, the department has made learning more fruitful and interesting for the students.
