Community Health Nursing
The Department of Community Health nursing actively participates in education, training, service and research in the field of community. The field training is imparted in both rural and urban areas. The rural community health training is given at Rural Health Training Center (RHTC) located at Kunnam, Sunguvarchatram, Sriperumbudur and Urban Health Training Centre (UHTC) located at Anna Nagar, Chennai, facilities of the PMCH&RI.
Obstetrics And Gynaecological Nursing
Obstetrics and Gynecology Department is an extensive branch of nursing science enlightening the theoretical and practical knowledge, attitude and skills. The departmental activities include clinical supervision of students, patient care and in-service education, conduction of awareness program. It also involves various activities like mass health education, women’s day celebrations and research activities.
Child Health Nursing
