The PANIMALAR COLLEGE OF NURSING Library is well equipped with Nursing Books, CDs / DVDs, National and International Journals, Magazines & Newspaper.

The library has subscribed 10 National & 5 International journals and also subscribed E-journals & E-books in every year. 

The Library has 4372 Books, 1636 Titles, 315 reference Books, 8 Multimedia system. With High speed Internet connection 250 mps

We have many facilities which are designed to choose from different learning areas such as reading hall, stock room, Video/DVD room, Journal Section, Conference hall, Digital and outside reading hall.

Procedure For Membership

  • Students and the faculty members of our institution is the member of the central library.
  • The library membership form will be issued in the central library, members should be submitted the membership form to the chief librarian along with 2 stamp size photographs.
  • The newly joined faculty members can get their library cards from library by showing yours appointment orders.
  • Students and the faculty members are requested to make the maximum use of the library and reading room facilities provided by the College.
  • The library premises should be used for academic and research purposes only.
  • All the visitors are requested to maintain silence inside the library building and adhere strictly to its rules and regulations. Chatting, eating, sleeping and using mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the library premises. Any irregularities found will be brought to the notice of the Librarian for necessary action. The Librarian is authorized with the power to terminate the membership of any visitor if he/she is found guilty of such misconduct.

RULES & REGULATION

  • All Students / Faculties of Panimalar College of Nursing are the members of the Library.
  • Strict Silence should be observed inside the Library.
  • All members are requested to make entry in the Gate Entry Register.
  • The library is kept open on all week days from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. All Library users (Students/Faculties).
  • Periodicals, Dictionary are for Reference only.
  • Underlining, overwriting, scribbling, folding or any sort of damage to the books is strictly prohibited. If any such case is found the member should replace new book.
  • All library users are requested to protect library books and other materials as their own property.
  • Personal belongings are not allowed inside the Library.
  • Use of Electronic Gadgets, Cell Phone, and Head Phone inside the Library is totally prohibited.
